He is not a command Sergeant Major… Period… you have to go to school, and you have to complete your required service commitment. He did not… Period… I’m a retired Senior Master Sergeant, I made E-8 at 20 years, I was given the choice, accept the promotion, do basically 3 more years and the schooling required or retire. When he was selected and promoted he had a service commitment and schooling he must meet… he did not…

You should be able to retire after 24 years of service! How many of these so called patriotic politicians have served?

Unlievable that a veteran gets the Trump treatment yet again. Do they have no shame at all?

Luckily they couldn't send both my brother's within a week to Vietnam. My third brother died a week earlier in a tragic accident or my two older brothers in the service would not known they were being sent to Nam they found out at the funeral. My one brother was being trained as mole rat, everyone died except for two sent.

He served for 24 years and decided to retire. That’s his choice. JD Vance didn’t re-enlist after 4 years, that was his choice. And the guy running for president who’s bringing up Walz’s military record, decided to avoid the draft. Which is worse???

He served his country 24 years Trump didn’t serve 24 minutes

If his unit hadn't been deployed to Iraq he would have stayed longer. He just didn't want to go during wartime. So he retired to escape.

I endorse Governor Walz! As a Marine who participated in a Marine Corps infantry battalion, all in combat, and in a unit who won two presidential citations. I own a purple heart. I served in combat with three Congressional Medal of Honor holders. I own a Purple Heart and a destroyed body. I endorse Governor Walz. Myself like many grunts from Vietnam feel Vance’s proclamation as a vogue feels the same way.

Sounds like he did Military the right way to me. Who wants to go to war just to come back messed up and the government to just forget about you.

Tim waltz knew ahead of time he was going to Iraq. They gave him heads up. That’s why he cowardly left the service.

Imagine if Walz had retired as Lieutenant. He would write Lieutenant Colonel in his book 😳

Definitely looking forward to the VP debate! It will be a battle of wits, with an unarmed man. Calling out a 24 year veteran? Really? 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
