Easy ways to stop on a skateboard!

My favorite one is the last one.

If you can’t do these you can just jump off and keep running, but some of these ways will look a little more stylish. I probably do power slides the most, but caveman’s are just as fun.

It doesn’t matter how you stop on a board, as long as you don’t hurt yourself!

Don't drag your tail. The wood will scrape off and slowly but surely your board won't have a tail anymore.
Instead, have your heel hanging off the tail of the board and drag your heel to stop.

The tail of your board may drag on the ground but the heel side of your shoes will take most of the weight and it's def more durable.

Anyone looking for the deck, the brand is Apari, but it looks like they no longer sell it. However, they sell a few other decks that are similar.
Edit: I've since sent the company an email to ask about the availability of the deck. The name of the deck is "Winnie", and I'll keep you guys posted on what they say.

I wouldn’t really consider the power slide as “easy”, but the pebble one was hilarious. I actually got hurt a few days ago when the wheels just stopped in a crack on the sidewalk :/

I've collected every skid-pebby through the years. They sit in a jar, on my mantle.
Sometimes, I listen to that song "I can't stop" while staring at my pebby jar, pondering the implications of my machinations. ❤

Was bombing a hill once holding a soda pop that I got at a gas station. They were doing construction on the bottom of the hill and I thought to myself “I’m going fast enough I should just go right through it.” Instead I ate shit, but managed to keep my soda from spilling as I was falling. I considered it a win.

When you start skating you get this sense of knowing the street quality. Got my friend into skating and he’s like “let’s go this way it’s quicker”. Just naturally, never skated down that way before only driven, I knew and said “sure if you want to hit the ground violently and use your skin to collect pebbles”

My uncle bought me a skateboard fully knowing that the roads here are full of tiny rocks and pebbles, and we don't have skateparks here, just great

I use the cave man to stop a sec and do (insert trick here such as fingerflip mid air as example) 😌 the people at my local seem to like when i do them, i think its creative 😄

Actually the pebble is the best way because it builds up resistance on your hands and replaces the skin with concrete and dirt, making them stronger
