The comparison of rehearsal and broadcast sound show that they were substantially identical, bar the tiny pickup of her natural voice on the hand held camera.

Almost all music experts, Fans and critics say that " Queen at Life Aid" is the best Performance of all time.
I would say, you have to count this as well. Even IF she recorded the vocals the day before. She still had to sing this Song, in her condition. She had to perform and IF recorded, to sing along live on TV. But it looks live, even IF the sound is playback, the singing is real. In her condition, every Moment of exaustion could trigger a spasm.... to stand there, performing and not only sing, but owning that stage.
The more Times i watch this, the more im impressed. After 5 years, the strengh to perform, the will and the mental comfort to perform like this, just wow.
The four middle sentenses and the epic. She had to give it all and boy....she did.
You can see the rehearsal and that should shut up all her critics. Oh and no, iim not counting you amongst them :)

Guys, even Aretha Franklin was pitch corrected on her last album (The Classics) and even if Celine needed a bit of technical help, give her that moment of triumph! The woman has been through so much. We all get older and our senses (accurate hearing is essential for accurate singing) DO deteriorate whether we like it or not. Celine is 56 and suffered her heal and steal (the show)!

I still say the organizers of the 2024 Summer Games should give Celine a special Gold Medal at the closing ceremonies. She trained and competed against her declining health and absolutely won in her own competition!

I had a goosebumps and teary eyes because of what had happened to her and she is back. She is my idol and she sang the song whos is also my idol the late Edith Piaf(french singer) L'hymme L'amour one of my favorite songs of Edith.
