People are wondering why Katrina even posted it on her channel when it seems unflattering, to say the least. But you have to understand, this was done as a challenge to herself, prompted by her friend who doubted if she could sing the song without switching to head. For most female vocalists, this song sits uncomfortably at the edge of the modal chest and can be very tiring staying in that mode without flipping to head. It is not pretty but then again, this is her way of testing the limits of her range, sort of like vocalization for the insanely gifted power belters
