I love when lady Gaga sings the minor note the 2nd time she sings “last night”. It would sound good if she sang it in the major key with Bruno, but singing the minor note compliments Bruno’s voice in a very unique way.

I love the song, And the visuals of the video are incredible. About the cigarette, I think she uses it to make the video look more retro, like it was in the 70s. And she also uses it as a means of being comical and the same with her makeup. The eyeliner looks like she either did her makeup in a hurry, or slept in it, or just like a cigarette, She acts like a singer in the 70s with nothing to lose .( She is also a great actress and always incorporates this into her musical performances, which for me is what makes her special)
And the harmony between Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga was one of the best things of the year.
