I met B.B.King at a concert once working security detail personally for him and his band. I was awestruck because my grandmother was a BIG fan. I got on the phone and called her so that she could talk to him. He obliged. As he was talking to her he quickly handed me back the phone. I got on and she was like, "that ain't no B.B.King baby!". 😂😂😂.
After he left off a few rifts of Lucille, she then became convinced. They talked for a while.
He made her day. He went on to have an awesome performance that night. Even gave an encore.
