Trigonometry: Modeling Harmonic Motion (Damped Harmonic Motion)

Most harmonic motion is not simple. Even if the only outside force is air resistance, a bouncing spring will eventually stop bouncing because the air resistance is enough to prevent it from getting all the way back to its maximum height with each oscillation (cycle). In this video we'll learn what an external force does to the equation of a harmonic motion.
