Love this 😋 my father always told me to fry the meat first to make it more savory and flavorful before adding the soup ♥️ thats our hack in creating dishes 😍

Thank you po, Kuya Fern. I tried your recipe using pork shoulder and it tasted great too. I only had 750grams of shoulder so I just adjusted the ingredients. I appreciate you for sharing the knowledge.

just tried this - where I live, Calamansi juice is something nobody has heard of, hard to come by, so out of no_idea, I added just a little lime juice (please, tell me if it was a horrible idea), and even then, this dish turned out great!!!! Absolutely love it, thank you so much for the great video and perfectly clear instructions!

This is Filipino gourmet cuisine . As a child, yung turo, ilagay lahat sa kaldero lutuin hangang konti ang sabaw. I questioned if there's a better way to coax flavor without vetsin. Pero mga matatanda resistant to changes, so they continue wth the primitive style . Thank you very much for showing the new generation the better, delicious, healthier, scientific cooking methods., also for elevating our cuisine.

I just cooked the pork following your instructions and it turned out AMAZING! Thank you for this recipe.

I substituted the oyster sauce for fig sauce and it tasted very very good too.

There are many different ways to make adobo or the order in which you cook the ingredients. I like that yours has onion and calamansi. And even though you have some calamansi in it, it still is not enough acid. The origins of adobo go back to the time before refrigeration, when Filipinos used cane vinegar to help preserve all the leftover meat when they slaughtered a pig (used to preserve seafood too). The vinegar is an integral part of the taste of "Pork Adobo".
