Dr.Grande I have to agree with you, when it comes to quantitative research "science" comes to mind, but not with qualitative research. They both are extremely valuable and move us forward in knowledge. I have to say I love qualitative research and the point of theory being rooted in the data. The two q's of research.  These two, qualitative and quantitative are so easy to confuse with one another.  This video did a great job explaining the difference.  I never really had a problem differentiating the two, but this video is also a great resource in helping figure out which direction to go for a given study.
