I switch policies every policy period, because every time renewal comes up it goes 20-30% up for no reason. However switching to another policy provider fixes the problem and I get same price with the same coverage.

Went from Geico $451 to Progressive $333 for two trucks. Best to shop around once a year.

If you live in DE, LA, MA, NC, and NY be careful. Those states require you sign cancellation documents when you switch. Also in NC, you may get hit with a short rate cancellation fee if you cancel your policy before your renewal.

State Farm customer here, and about to leave them. I’ve been paying $170 for liability on a 12 year old truck for two years now. Then they started playing with my money after I turned 21. Dropped by $10, went up again to $190, down again to $180, back up to $195. Month to month they continue to change and when I brought it up I was told I was lying lmao. I told em they could sit on one 😉😂

It's crazy how location play a big role in your rate. Or maybe I'm just getting rob lol.
I moved about 20 miles out (more into the cities) and my rate went up. I use to pay 130 per month for 2 car and now I'm paying 210 per month.
