For recipes (butter caramels & white chocolate bark), go to my blog:

Thanks for hanging out with me today and God Jul!

So Sweet! Especially like the white chocolate candy bark with dried
Cranberries and Pistachios.
Have a tip for anyone who wants to make candy, such as Toffee and
Brittles. This candy often will set up so quickly, that there's no time to spread Thinly across the cookie
pan.
The trick, place the pan in the oven to warm up, and when you pour out the candy, it stays warm, so it can be spread out Thinly.
Better and easier to crunch and as the candy spreads out further, you wind up having more candy from the same recipe.
Five minutes at 350° is often enough. Make sure that you then place it on a heat- proof surface, or just on top of the stove.
Good Jul to all!
Merry Christmas!

Your videos...they are so oktoberfestive, I always love preparing for winter, with festival candies, winter pine trees mmm, decorations ( hand made), knitting with wool- mittens and sweaters, cheeses and meats preserved, potatoes and dumplings, and winter stolice. Your videos are very kind to preparing for cold winter up north ! I hope you keep making them.

Mmm I do love me some Swedish candy! For those in the states IKEA has some good Swedish Xmas candy available in stores. I've also seen some at Marshalls & TJ Maxx of all places. Sometimes at Marshalls I can even find my personal favorite jars of Lingonberry jam!

Pre 1900 Northern US East Coast of US was covered with Chestnut trees. And there was maple syrup for candy making for those living off the land. Landscape has changed.
Cookie making and gifting is still a thing here.
To a central Floridian with orange trees... peeking in sweetness, trees loaded with the orange balls... merry indeed!

In Hungary people put candy/ chocolate on the Christmas tree. They called "szaloncukor" and they come in many colors and flavors.
