There's nothing cheap about the 5c. The plastic is what makes it durable even more durable then all the others. And people will say your cheap for buying it because they've just realized they wasted 300 more dollars for a phone that was exactly the same thing with minor tweeks (5s??) Get the 5c. Nothing wrong with it.

Question; I currently have the HTC Desire but my friend caused the power button to be a little hard to push so I might get an Iphone 5c because I have the money. Is it worth it or is the HTC better ?

I got a green iPhone 5c and I love it! It's a beautiful shade of green and the plastic makes it shine in such an awesome way. And, it's got the same specs as the iPhone 5. Sure, the 5s has better specs, but there are still tons of people using iPhone 4s and 4s's. So you won't be far behind :) And I hate how everyone says that it sucks because it's made of plastic. It's a really hard plastic, and I actually feel really safe with it. Also, I love being creative, and why carry a boring old black/white iPhone around when you could have a different color, like blue, pink, yellow, or green? I haven't had any problems with my phone for the past two weeks, and it's been doing just fine :) The only complaint I have with the 5c is that you can see fingerprints and smudges on the back if it's in bright-ish light, but that's fine. You can just get a case if you don't like it :P

I love how my 5c feels! It doesn't feel greasy to me, it feels smooth and is really awesome to hold. I do have a case for protection but I find myself frequently removing it just so that I can feel the phone itself! Love the 5c

I've never had a Smartphone, so I'm really ignorant about how these electronics work. I just smashed my iPod Touch 5's screen and I'm really sad. I've always been happy with just an iPod, but now that I need a new unit, I'm considering an upgrade to a phone. I have a lot of questions; firstly, do you have to pay extra for coverage? Is there a monthly fee in other words to get internet/phone access anywhere in the USA (or is it basically wi-fi like the ipod?), or how does it work? I would primarily use it just for apps and internet, just like my ipod; I like that you can use the phone without wi-fi via the network coverage, but that's the part that confuses me; my question is, is it worth the cost given my needs to get the phone, are there extra costs (monthly/yearly), and which phone is most like my 5th gen iPod? Thanks to everyone who can help me with this.

I love the 5S, love the finger print technology, I use a pass code all the time, so it makes it so much simpler! It also take so much better photos in low light.

why complain about the plastic? Metal is far more slippery, easier to brake (glass), much less comfortable without the round edges.... Everything is worse. Where's the quality in a metal and glass back?
