Dyno 500,000 km + Windsor V8 | How Much Horsepower?

In this episode I catch up with Tim and Peter from EFI Logic. The EB finally has its first service in about 8 months since I took ownership. Plus, Tim puts the EB onto the dyno to see how much the 500,000 km + Windsor V8 puts out. This is another step in the process of bringing back to life this much loved V8 Fairmont Ghia which has been in my family for over 20 years. This car will eventually become our family cruiser; for now, it's called Project V8.

126rwkw is pretty damn awesome. Never dyno'd my NC 5.0L, its not currently running but it definitely had better power than my 6cyl EB which only made 102.5rwkw

Thank you Tim for a job well done. Nice to see a fellow professional mechanic at work doing a really good job. On a personal mention. I hate those K&N filters unless you are going racing! They ONLY put oil in the inlet tract and gum up the MAF sensor and block the throttle butterfly. A paper filter is much better for normal everyday use. I said 140 HP and I was wrong.

cant kill a 302w, my mate sat my AU1 v8 on limi for a solid 10 mins the day before i swapped for it, still had more power than an intech

Very cool. I've been attempting something similar with a 240, 000 km LS1. An exhaust will make a world of difference in both sound and performance imo . I've gone with an stainless Xforce exhaust

Great vid, it's really interesting to see the numbers from a bone stock EFi 302 from this era as you can identify the various steps Ford took to improve the output over the years right up until the trusty old 302W was replaced by something horribly complex and expensive.
