In this video I take you on the front line as a junior doctor in an NHS hospital in Central London, through my day: from my morning coffee to ward rounds, to how we wear personal protective gear before seeing patients! I’ve had tons of friends and family ask me what it’s like to work in a hospital in London, so I thought I'd take an opportunity to make something like this. Hopefully it'll inspire some of you to want to work in this incredible place as well!

Hey Matt! Just stumbled on your video by accident and I just want to let you know you're doing a great job on youtube. Please don't stop posting, your video has really motivated me to keep studying. I'm currently in 4th year of med school in Italy and I'm planning on moving to the UK after I graduate, so having an insight of what it really is like to be a Junior Doctor helps me to keep on track with my studies. Thanks for the video!

Hi Matt, fantastic video. Really interesting. Glad I came across your channel. Have subscribed. I’ve so much respect for what you do and all the other hardworking NHS staff. I owe my life to you guys. I’m having my 5th open-heart surgery at a London hospital in 2 weeks time. My niece is a medical student and her husband a junior doctor. I would so love to have been a doctor/surgeon. It’s so so interesting. Lots of respect for you 👍
