At least in the US, Misano Blue is the most common color for the M2 CS. It is not rarer than SIlver or Black. 219 of the 589 US cars were spec'd in Misano Blue. From most common to least it's Misano Blue -> Hockenheim SIlver -> Sapphire Black -> Alpine White

"Night and day" difference is the biggest exaggeration. I would say the most noticeable difference is the dampening system tbh.

I like the Mercedes black out style or storm trooper style too, the sapphire black m2 was so noice

I'm probably one of the few people that would get that car in a dual clutch which is a darn shame because there are going to be manual cars for years and years but they will not be many dual clutch cars pretty soon

The roof has a much higher torsional stiffness than any other M car, as it is a sandwich layout. So I think BMW wanted to signify that with the different weave. The different layup method with the core inbetween the layers might also be what's causing the slight shift in the weave pattern. But this just makes it cooler. There's no compromise on the rigidity, so they won't replace them.

What’s your take on Akrapovic slip-on vs link pipe + slip-on combo? Any chance of having a sound review while you have these amazing cars available?

Cool car, not worth the money if you want to actually drive it. The money you are paying is primarily high because it’s collectible due to its low volume. But it’s not extravagantly better than a M2 Comp, which is a lot cheaper.

I’m actually interested in one of these cars. Where can I find a for sale ad for it or who can I talk to about it?

Yes, I also like the carbon roof of M2CS

Great video! Thank you for posting. I own a six speed manual Misano Blue car with CCBs and gold wheels. MSRP was $93, 500. That car is neatly tucked away with 45 miles on the clock. I am in the process of buying a white 5K DCT car that I will actually drive. Also gold rims and CCBs. I own a lot of BMWs (from a 1995 M5 Touring to 2023 M4 CSL) and these are definitely super special!

I'm in the market for an M2 and the price where I am the m2's are selling for half price compared to the M2 CS.
Is the CS worth double the price?
If you took a standard M2 or M2 Competition and tuned it wouldn't you end up with more horsepower and a faster vehicle than the M2 CS?

Right now the car is gonna be a good collector's car when the prices drops a bit more before it stays flat and then goes up. There will be a bunch of F80 M3/M4 going on the market for under $50k and people would buy those than these due to price and performance. But once the market plays out the M2 CS will go up in value as people will seek out these unique small chasis performance car.

awesome cars but man does the S55 sound bad, N55 sounds much better.

Those center caps aren't aftermarket, BMW sells the car with those.

You definitely get $20K in upgraded parts, but not $20K in improved performance over the F87C. So, I guess it is up to what each individual considers 'more special' between the C and CS. I loved the F87C and decided to move into the 'big brother' icon with the G80C. Fine ride, but I did not consider the G80C 'better' than the F87C. It simply did not click with me aesthetically or performance-wise. So, I moved into a GT4. . . for my spirited daily driving purposes, still ponder if the F87C was not a better car for ME???

But my M2CS didn't have any problem of carbon roof.

its kinda funny how little actual difference there is other than the apdaptive shocks, but all these reviewers can all of a sudden feel so many "cahnges".
