My first struggle is to even find books in English in our German bookstores. Meanwhile I’m only reading English ones and so I think that’s quite sad. But seriously, the covers always are amazing

Not ALL of them tho😂 but we definitely get the prettiest book covers. Just look at the Warrior Cats covers in Germany. I was shocked when I saw how cheap the originals look!

Not all the books. Just first editions of books in specific genres. Which is honestly a pity because special features in the first edition of a book don't only hike up the prices of the print book (and those prices stay the same even if future editions won't have edge coloring) but the ebook, too.

I'm german and I actually hate it. I don't like coloured spines, and those details make books so expensive: 20€ and up.
