Another forgotten feature, for me at least, is hidden battle stars or banners in weekly loading screens

I have some forgotten things

1- you can let the bots at stark industry to be your teammates

2- you can ride sharks

3- you can open vaults by using keys in season 4 chapter 3

4- the game that you can play in deadpool’s computer in season 2 chapter 2

I actually use the wall climbs a LOT in regular BR. It really helps me get up to high ground, and it lets me conserve mats.

A forgotten feature that I don't see even OG's talk about where the generators.
For those who don't know the generators where added in chapter 2 season 2 and removed in chapter 2 season 3, and the generators could be found at all of the boss pois. How it worked was you went up to the generator and pickaxed it to basically "deactivate" it, doing this would cause all of "Defense Mechanisms" (Turrets, Cameras, locked doors, etc.) would deactivate.

They have to bring back Shakedowns, idk why they even got rid of them in the first place

I feel like sidegrading was just a worse version of Crafting.
Like if you had Nuts and Bolts, you could sidegrade a regular AR into a Silenced AR, or a Pump Shotgun into a Charge Shotgun, Ect.

Overtime challenges. They were used until chapter 2 season 1. In C1S7 they gave ys a free C1S8 battlepass for doing the challenges. I miss this.😢

Fishing. Fishing isn’t that forgotten, but it hasn’t been used that much since the Harpoon left and the nerf to the fish from 50 to 40.

They need to bring shakedowns back for OG Ch. 2. Which I think they have to cause their gameplay trailer for S2 Ch2 showed shakedowns as it's main gimmick they added for the season.

The xp coins they definitely were an amazing way to get XP in chapter two. I am pretty sure most people forgot that feature.

I'm really surprised you didn't mention being able to pickaxe the snow in Chapter 4 Season 1 to make giant snowballs to hide in/roll down hills in. I don't think I ever used it unless it was for a quest.

the cosmic chests from chapter 2, it was like a chest in a crystal that you and your teammates had to work together to open

I miss legendary and epic weapons having a different model to their lower counterparts. Made the legendary guns feel more exclusive. But Lazy Games couldn't bother making 2 new models per gun

Walk climbing is useful tho especially in Zero builds. It’s a must when u want to get high ground without using mobility. Also, I believe in Chapter 2, seasons 7 & 8, side grades only required nuts and bolts and u can do it anywhere. I remember since I used to cover at Scars to Augs

You should do every fortnite map ranked, by it's interactions and loot amount, like how there's nitro right now
