It will fail because the focus is on investors, not the sport

It doesn’t matter what league you are trying to be, the important thing is if you can attract audience. Money follows where the views are. Don’t be expecting to have the salary of NFL players when you cannot pull that level of performance

The fact that a key narrative in US football (Soccer for the Americans here) is that you can buy fans in the form of signing popular players from abroad is really telling of why this sport has failed so many times before in your nation. Atleast the new leadership in both the MLS and NWSL seem to slowly but surley be learning from past mistakes and hopefully the growth trend will continue.

America messing with the world game and looking clueless. Football teams represented communities, regions, they are some franchise you can drop into a city, go to the UK and Europe and see how they function, promotion, relegation 😮

Franchise flipping and endless growth is not a sustainable business model. Owners turning over a club within 2-3 years is a recipe for failure.

Also just saw the end of the video. If you think that womens soccer would have done better without the male brands supporting them you are sorely mistaken. There would not have been anything close to what we see today without this investment and infrastructure from the men's side. The truth is that women dont buy, support or play enough to maintain a team at the level that women like Jessica would want in theory. The US is a very rear exception and even still the most valuable NWSL team is worth less than half of what the least valuable MLS team is worth.

This is the most ridiculous story from Bloomberg in the past 5 years. And I've watched them all.

Women want everything without going through the hardship to get there. I played soccer because it was entertaining not because of money
