On paper the Mercedes 190E Evo and the 190E 2.5 16 Cosworth are almost the same car, almost. The W201 generation Mercedes 190E is an icon and there are levels to how much of an icon it is, from the diesel 190D, the standard 1.8 litre petrol 190E, the 2.3 16 Cosworth and then the 2.5 16 Cosworth, 190E Evo 1 and then the true icon of DTM, the 190E Evo 2. The latter two were essentially each limited to about 500 examples as they were built purely as a homologation special to allow Mercedes to run the car in DTM.

Good primer on these awesome cars and especially the subtle difference of the Evolution 🙌 Hit us up if you need any maintenance parts or performance bits for these. :)

The 190e is to the E30 as the dodge charger was to the Mustang. Absolutely gorgeous pair of 190e's.

I love Mercedes 190E Evolution 2 so much and also is one of my favourite Mercedes race cars of all time and the E30 M3 as well and also only two reason why i loved the 190E first the engine was tuned powered by Cosworth and second the 190e racing on DTM in 80s and 90s and the rival of the E30 M3 and last the 190E was a legend racing car not a gangster car.

E280 with manual and shock/spring upgrade will destroy any 190! Same with the E30 the 325i was a much much better car than the M3.
