I still got the invitation to the forecourt of Buckingham Palace in the event of "Trooping the colour."It was a sight, I shall never forget! Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, on horsebach at the head of the parade, followed by a barouche with the Queen Mother and Princess Anne and then Prince Charles on either side.
