Meet the Seattle Dog: A Hot Dog Topped with Cream Cheese and Onions

Randy Stevenson is the owner of Seattle Sausage: Home of The Seattle Dog, where you can get — that's right — the one and only original Seattle Dog.

"We take onions, we cut them and slice them sauté them," said Stevenson. "We grill the hotdogs to temperature. We toast the buns."

Sounds like a normal hot dog, right? Well, there is a reason these are unique — and the secret ingredient is cream cheese.

Anyone remember Jerome? He used to sell dogs on the weekends in front of all the old nightclubs and venues Downunder, The Showbox, all over really. I meet him in 2001 and probably last saw him 2007. Coolest dude ever.

I remember these, they're simply the best especially after a night out of club hopping. Tried Cali hotdogs after concerts and they're just NASTY small buns and it's not the same. Seattle dogs are far superior imo, cream cheese, hoagie bun, caramelized onions, siracha and your choice of toppings yum 😍
