This is inspired by the legend of a king of Aragon(Spain). King Sancho was facing a lot of troubles during the early days of his reign, there were many plots to overthrow him. He asked council to a monk who just cut some flowers that were too tall and told the messenger to tell the king what he did. The king gathered all the nobles in Huesca from them to listen a new bell he had ordered for the church ring. He then trapped his guests and cut the head of the most prominent figures of the plots against him.
P.S.: your pronunciation of Huesca was neat. Kudos from Spain.

Somebody in real life looked at the guy who did that and said, "He's a good Lord, just misunderstood."

It’s based on a legend about king Ramiro II of Aragon, called the Monk. The story goes that after his brother King Alfonso I (the Battler) died, leaving all the kingdom to the Pope (true history btw), he was basically taken out of his monastery were he was an Abbot, and forced to be king of Aragon by the nobles, however these nobles were feisty and disrespectful POS. They would do nothing but scheme and intrigue and backstab him at every turn, and in general cause him massive headaches, so King Ramiro asked for counsel from one of his previous brother monks and one took him out to a field of poppies with pruning shears and started to cut all the poppies that were too tall. “What I have done to the tall, overreaching poppies, you do the same.” So King Ramiro did his homework and summoned all the nobles that were giving him headaches with the excuse of joining him to see and hear the new bell he had costumed for the city of Huesca. And as the scheming nobles were arriving one by one… … one by one king Ramiro was detaining and sending them to the chopping block to have their heads removed. When the most important and worst of the scheming nobles arrived, the king presented him to a huge pile of heads, and Ramiro was just waiting for him, and his head was going to be the bell tongue or clapper to all the others. And that my friends is the gruesome and fascinating story of “The Bell Of Huesca” and it’s just that, a story, a fictional story, but a good story nonetheless.

You want a spooky ck thing? Go listen to ck2 execution sounds, we have such cult favorites as:
Boiling alive, Burning alive, Stepped on by an elephant, Quartering, Hanging and many, many more
What's impressive is that most of them got both male AND female version, + some for CHILDREN, totalling to about 12 minutes worth of death sounds

Aragon had a king called “Pere el Cerimoniós” who once molted a lead bell and made some rebels drink it

Her: “Bells… made out of people!”
Me: “How does that even work? Flayed human hides wouldn’t make decent ringing sounds!”

Once i played a character who had a imaginary friend as a kid. The "friend" showed up later again and asked me if i would kill people. I think after a dozent of murdered people she was pleased and i got a bonus (i think for intriques or so, but i dont remember what exactly)

Is that actually real? The wiki doesn't mention that nickname anywhere in the list of nicknames, and I can't find anything about it online except one reddit post and this video
