You don't push the brakes and rev. It'll build up with the brakes engaged

It's actually 3 psi in one minute. 2 psi for the truck and add one for your trailer. I'm learning this in my cdl school right now

No wheel chocks no key pocket no 3 point contact. Start the truck chocked, release break dump down below 100 set breaks build up to full presser. Shut truck off put on aux, tell trooper psi you'll lose 5-15 initial drop tell him what you lost, THEN when it settles time 1 min for no more then 3 psi tell trooper what you lost 1, 2, 3 ext. Then repeat with pressing service break, again 5-15 loss, let trooper know what you lost, then time for 1 min and can't lose more then 4 psi in 1 min. Then pump break alarm comes on before 60 psi continue to pump break spring break comes in between 20&45 then build presser back up test build up rate 85 to 100 at idol must reach 100 within 45 sec. Then build up to full presser dump back down to 100 with parking and trailer break in, Set break once you break 100. Once pressure builds cut in works then acknowledge cut out. Then get out get chocks test parking trailer and trolley then service break. This is in Massachusetts only I believe the rest of the country has it way easier lol.

The rpms should be 1200 to 1500 but don’t pass 1500 or it’s automatic fail

Didn't set the breaks when you shut the truck Off? At least in the video lol and you test the parking breaks first and it's 3 ps and then the service break which is 4. Not a great start

In the Illinois CDL study guide it says to have caution that it's better to never press the service brake while the parking brake is applied; the air pressure from both the spring/parking brake and the service brake could damage the brakes
