I was sorry to miss this livestream as I was working this afternoon. But catching up, I enjoyed the discussion about giving clothes another life when decluttering. I had two greatly loved cashmere sweaters which had holes in the elbows (from when our dog was a puppy teething). I didn't want to get rid of them. In the end I made hats from the bodies of the sweaters and gave them to a friend who provides clothes for the homeless - another way of giving clothes another life.

Hello MarieAnne, when I was young (late sixties), my godmother had a big house with a huge garden/park, so she had a lot of work and wore comfy shoes all day - but there was always a pair of shoes with heels in the kitchen in case a visitor turned up. Believe me: That pair of pretty shoes made all the difference!! 😊

Thanks to you, I got rid of the 80% I did not wear and love and kept the 20% I do wear and love. I now have 2 capsule wardrobes for warm and cool seasons and 5 pairs of shoes for each season. I am so much happier now and shop more wisely as well.
