As the team ventured through the maze of tunnels and lasers that was Alpha Labs, they came across one of the Elemental Phase Disruptor's many junctions, the faint hissing of pipes full of gas, combined with the seemingly distant chime of bells made for a rather... peaceful. That was until they noticed the bodies.

"Damn. Is no place safe from those freakin' things?" Sammy commented, eyeing the corpse of a marine. Thadster retorted rather bluntly with a "No.".

The team slowly pushed up behind Mah Rene, who was already tired of this. After being through all of this bullshit, he was ready to link up with Bravo Team and send that evac communication. As the stepped down the ramp, the lights would blink out before a demonic chuckle could be heard echoing throughout the junction. Suddenly, several shambling zombies walked up to greet the team.

"Star formation!" Mah Rene yelled, pulling out his shotgun. The squad quickly obeyed, fighting to keep the zombies at bay.
