I rode one and I was interested for having one, but then I put all on paper pros and cons : I ride Indian Chieftain 18, and I'm use to on forward controls and highway pegs, Goldwing comes with small sport bike pegs midpositioned not a lot of space for stretching your legs, you feel little bit trapped especially if you wear boots with a heel, not pleasant shifting and your toes will constantly hit the engine since shifter peg is very near engine. Then sitting position, I'm 5.8 and I had backrest on that test ride Honda, useless, you are sitting just a touch forward, or straight, so your spine will not be leaning on backrest, maybe with a highway pegs you can lean on backrest. Then heat, Chieftain gets hot on uppers level of your legs near balls 😉, on the other side Goldwing is liquid cooled engine, still your calf will be on fire, and seat as well. I rode Goldwing on 90'F . Seat was very stift, not leather compering with Chieftain seat which is leather and very comfy. Then infotainment on Goldwing is not that sophisticated like Indian, no touch screen, no split screen, you have to be in right screen do some command. For example : if audio player is not on screen, you can't move to a next song. And a lot of buttons, kinda overwhelming, on handlebars buttons everywhere, I'm not sure you need all of them, very confusing. And windshield, even with windshield all the way up you will have some wind coming on your ears, since windshield is it's kinda narrow compering with Chieftain windshield, same power windshield. And Goldwing is very difficult when it comes to a approach of certain features, no quick release of tour pack, not a lot of mods to do on the bike.. On the other hand, suspension, acceleration, feeling is better on Goldwing, riding modes. Goldwing is more sport touring bike, where Chieftain is true cruiser, very different. This is my opinion, what ever suits you. Keep riding folks.

The auto shutdown like in a car is stupid for a bike. I never even used it once. Shut this F thing down as soon as I drove from the dealer. This machine is a master of bikes. Just a pleasure Honda spoiled me big time. I am not sure what else is out there to compare at the moment. None for me.
