The first USB port can be used if you want to play multiplayer on Quake. You just need to download an .opk and purchase a USB C to A as well as a WiFi Adapter to do so. Works great though as you can play someone on a PC or go multiplayer with two RG350s (assuming you have two of the setups)

the difference is the gpd xd actually does n64, psp, dreamcast emulation. its also google play compatible

The usb1 may be an out direction while the usb2 is in. So for example for anyone that may not know what that means the "in" means a controller to a console for example. "out" is like hooking the rg350 to a tv.

Overall is nice and fair for the price. I was hoping that you would’ve at least try the analogs and see if they feel good. Like comparing it to certain other portables or maybe console controllers.

Im using a "Microsoft Surface 2 Pro" for portable gaming & I couldnt recommend a decently powerful Windows Tablet like that more! It runs almost Any PC game & runs any Emulator very well except for the Switch's "Yuzu" Emulator as that doesnt support the inbuilt graphics, but the fact it plays ANY other Emulator & 95% of PC games & the fact it only costs about 30% more than that overpriced red folding handheld he showed in this video makes it a no-brainer to buy a Tablet for portable gaming! U can also get cheap "wrap around" controllers so its set up like the Switch with controller on either side of the screen! I wouldnt recommend the Surface 2 Pro tho, as it doesnt seem to be USB chargeable! at least as far as I can tell, which really pissed me off to find out! But, u can get a car charger & therefor buy a 12V batter car charger or car starter unit & use that as a portable battery charger for the Surface 2 Pro & ANY other tablet that doesnt support USB charging.

So you pretty much need a computer in order to load and play games that arnt predownloaded on the device already. Right? Or am I confused?

Excellent review. Concise and informative. I appreciate the overview of the built in games. You checked all the boxes and without excessive blather. I wanted to know: Do the games control well? Screen quality? Which emulators? Ease of use? Etc.

This is a great handheld, however the CONS for me is that the rubber tips on the sticks comes off way too easy, buttons B, A, Y, X is raised a tad bit too high for my taste but not too much to hinder my enjoyment. I wish the screen was about an inch or so bigger (maybe just me and bad eyes) but I start to get eye strain after about 20 mins of play.


Other than those cons I love this handheld. Also if anyone's an expert in batteries reading this, I was thinking of replacing the battery to a bigger one somewhere in the 3000 - 4000 mAh range. Would doing that cause any problems thanks.

Hmm, thats a HUGE shame it doesnt have proper "stacked" shoulder buttons & triggers (as in the LB & RB would be above the Triggers, like a PS2, 3, 4 or Xbox controller with the triggers & shoulder buttons) which makes this nowhere near as good as that "Retroid Pocket 2" handheld which loos to be the BEST by a huge amount in Every way possible. This RG350 also unlike the Retroid Pocket 2 does Not have enough room under the D-pad so that you can use the D-pad comfortably, so the Retroid Pocket 2 has been revised & the creators know gaming, unlike the creators of ALL these other lesser ones that have several issues. So its a fact, the Retroid Pocket 2 is the best by FAR.
