It's got the *exact* same chipset as the years-old GCW-Zero, they just added L2/R2/L3/R3 & 2 analog sticks.
They literally used the same exact emulators that were ported over to the GCW0.
I've got one on pre-order.

Hi, 666 is just a placeholder since it's out of stock (they sold on pre-order for 95 dollars), the internals are almost the same as the GCW Zero, but it has twice the amount of RAM (and it's DDR2, the GCW zero uses SDRAM) and has more buttons like L2 and R2, anallog joysticks with L3 and R3, etc. The processor is very old (from 2011) but has almost the double speed compared to previous chipsets and 3D acceleration. The emulators for GCW Zero have no news for almost 3 years and this device (same thing for the new bittboy that will use this same hardware) should ressurrect the scene.

I like the look of the orange and black. It looks like it may have potential. My biggest fear is that it’s an updated shell with dual analog sticks, and 2 shoulder buttons. At the approximate $80 USD I will have to think harder if I really need it, when a “modified” amazon fire can be got for cheap and runs retroarch fine (with a Bluetooth controller).

As long as they are getting better I do not mind new handhelds.
The only chinese handheld that has been powerful enough has been the gpd brand. Hopefully this uses newer and a more powerful chipset.
The problem with this brand is they seem to be using the same underpowered chipset in everything they release.

After getting used to the RG300 much higher res screen, Im not sure I want to go back to such a low res screen for the menus.

Apparently they're adding and usb/OTG port to the unit which in theory may allow usb controllers to be attached to it.

If it is more then $200 then we expect near GPD XD gaming performance... otherwise why not get a powkiddy x18 or GPD XD?

I should have mine next week from AliExpress. It does not have bluetooth but it does have USB OTG port so you should be able to hookup a usb controller. Wireless controllers with a usb dongle would work too. This is the same processor as GCW Zero. Search youtube for rg350 for videos of it playing n64 and snes games that don't run well on other opendingux devices.

Oh yes, i am extremely interested in this, but can’t buy it atm, because there are so many great releases this year (first world problems).
And yes, translucent is always cool imho.
If the analog sticks are as good as those of the NGP for example i don’t care about the position of the d-pad.

Nice. This was one I was eye ballong for sometime. Was supposed to ship at the end of this month, but now it got delayed for later October. Dpad look like it could be a bit stiff. It supposed to sell for $79.99 US, but will see.

I personally look after the RG350H (renamed GKD350 recently). Better DPAD position for the same performance.

I hope it can run large neo geo games good. The rs97 literally takes 25 minutes to load large neo geo games like garou mark of the wolves. It plays good once it leads, but the small amount of memory means it needs to do a ton of memory swapping.

Also we all know the biggest problem with the Chinese handhelds is the software is subpar.
