This video has been uploaded in 2021 and one of the questions at 15:49 has exactly appeared in the 2022 advanced paper without any change, not even a grammatical change . 😮

Sir at 8:20 there is also a straight method that after squaring Ps1 and Ps2
(Ps1)²+(ps2)² =(s1s2)² which can further written as (2ae)²
and 2(Ps1)(Ps2) =4 ×area

Sir for the 2nd question, I proceeded by taking any general ellipse and the point where the circle is tangent to be acosθ, bsinθ, since this point is common to both ellipse and circle. Now the normal to the circle at this point passes through (ae, 0) so the slope of normal is bsinθ/a(cosθ-e). Also finding the slope of tangent at the point of tangency we get the slope as -b/a*cotθ. Since these two slopes are at 90° so their product must be -1. On putting the values and simplyfying we get cosθ=1/e. But this is not possible as 1/e>1. Sir can you tell me where is the mistake?
