as a german, the only reason i visit a christmas market is for the champions and lángos (a hungarian dish that is often found at seasonal markets in my region) 😂 i'm Happy you enjoyed your visit! ( and the food) 😊

Right around the corner at Bahnhof Zoo is Curry36, Currywurst with fries costs about 4€ there🤞🏻

Try Mutzen next time. They are called different in the different parts of Germany, but it's basically fried dough with powder sugar. Or Gebrannte Mandeln. It's not a Christmas market without one of these two🥰
