I am a singaporean of Javanese ethnicity.
My parents were from Solo and Kebun-Agung Pachitan.
We also eat rempeyek, tumpi, mi soto/soto ayam and sate with spicy peanut sauce (no kecap), nasi ambeng, sambal goreng, rujak bandung, mee Jawa, and a few more.

fun fact there are roughly more than 40 kind of soto all over Indonesia, differs depending on the region! there are soto with clear broth, there's also the creamier ones where they add coconut milk into it. beside chicken, the meat in soto varies between beef, goat, and the entrails of either of those two. on rarer case there's also soto with soya beans or pork or fish

The deep fried nut crackers is called "Rempeyek". It has many toppings, peanuts, soy bean, mung beans, little anchovy, that's all the toppings that i know.

Im Filipino and Indonesian food is so similar to ours, But with different ingredients, like halo-halo (pronounced ha-lo ha-lo not hay-lo hay-lo) our version has different fruits like banana coconut
