Alhamdulillah bro, a true muslim never stops improving and doing more goodness no matter how old they are, thats what Islam is really about. What you mentioned in this video is the real meaning of Salat (connecting Gods laws to every action and decision you do) and Zakat (constantly increasing and purifying). These are not rituals to be done five times a day or once a year in Ramadan. After getting deep into Sunni Islam, I started reading the Quran in Arabic and going back to the root words and realized true Islam is very different than modern Islam. I urge everyone to look into understanding Islam from the Quran and not hadith, which are a baseless fabrication (as stated in tge Quran). Allah SWT states that the Quran is the best hadith and we are not to follow any hadith after it. I pray folks read this message and ponder and turn to the Quran, the book of their Lord, inshaAllah
