I want to downgrade my new w11 workstation so bad. I swear I've tried for 2-3 months to adapt to w11 and I just can't find a justification for any of the UI/UX changes they've made. I've spent hours and hours just trying to configure it to support old power user tricks, including most recently a registry edit just to get the old right-click context menu back (why???).

So I followed your instructions for the downgrade - and halfway through I stumbled on the fact that w10 loses support in just 2 more years and decided to stop. Got to live with it I guess. I was almost looking forward to no longer being the family tech support guy by willful ignorance of how all their shiny new w11 devices work.

Please help when I’m on boot menu where you have to pick what drive partition you want to install windows when I click on any of the drives it says “windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style”. I’m stuck from moving forward from here please help

How do I know which version I had before? I have Windows 11 Home now - does that mean that I would have had Windows 10 Home before? Or can I choose Windows 10 Pro?

Damn, I used the reboot from usb option in Win11 System to install Win 10.... Had to reinstall drivers etc. Also laptop preconfig progs... Oops. Got Win10!!! It's worth it! Thanks for vid. (Grrrr @ win11 GRRrRRRr).

Hi, this method has worked for my laptop. The issue is that the Win 10 is very slow. I think this is because my C and D drives got swapped after the downgrade. All my data from D drive on Win 11 is now in the C drive and the important C drive stuff for maintaining system integrity is now in the D drive. I hope some one can help me with this one.
