We Finally Know Why Food Network Canceled Ace Of Cakes

For ten seasons and 116 episodes, "Ace of Cakes" gave Food Network viewers an inside look at Duff Goldman's Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Maryland. The fun insider look at the custom cake shop and its colorful crew made "Ace of Cakes" a ratings hit for the network, and turned Duff Goldman into a household name (at least in households where the Food Network is on 24/7). The final episode aired February 10, 2011, and Goldman moved on to several hosting gigs on the Food Network, as well as new shows like "Buddy vs. Duff" and "Duff Takes the Cake." And now, looking back, we think we finally know why Food Network canceled "Ace of Cakes."
