What does everything think about these monitors? Could you see yourself using them?

Kind of reminds me of that PSOne screen for their mini revision from way back when.

3:07 Thanks for showing this. I was just playing Burnout the other day. It made me think of how much I missed the Traffic Check and crashing of Revenge. Then this flashed up on the screen. Come to find out this game is called Danger Zone 2, it is made by people who worked on Burnout, and it is on PC. Nice.

I'm a pc gamer and I think these are really cool. Personally I'd still get a laptop but I still think this looks like a great addition for a console on the go. I might recommend one of these to some of my console gaming buddys

When Sony released Psone with a portable LCD screen in 90s, it was amazing and revolutionary (and no extra Ac Power needed), as the only handheld video game was an 8bit without backlight screen (gameboy), and the TVs were the big and heavy CRT 29". I bought one and felt like getting a high end video game at that time. But nowadays these screens on PS4 or Xbox one dont Sound like something functional as it was 20 years ago.

Oled is probably more expensive? I like this product if you don't want to carry a TV around can't you use the headphone jack on the dualshock 4 to get that sound anyways?

It's worth noting that both MS and Sony recommend that you put nothing on top of your console.

REREZ SHANE ADAM ANYBODY!! The marker in the centre of the screen is for speedrunners. In games like goldeneye it doesn't have a crosshair without stopping and automatically aiming. Gamers for years have used a marker or a piece of tape to simulate a crosshair. Now they don't have to thanks to this. It's actually a powerful tool and can improve speedrun times immensely.

Does it at least come with a headphone port? It would defeat purpose of a PORTABLE monitor if it didn't have one.

I love rerez I watch every episode no matter what it’s on and I learn about a lot about a bunch of things I would never have checked out otherwise

Universal foldable gaming monitors are the way to go, as it’s totally future proof and can be used with any HDMI device whether it be raspberry pi, or even retro consoles using hdmi converters. The dedicated screens become redundant pretty quickly as you change consoles.

Just to be clear: main use of on-screen crosshairs is for 3 things:

1: quick scopes(cod usually doesn't have a dot in the hipfire crosshairs)
2: games without crosshairs(lack of crosshairs apparently gives motion sickness to some people)
3: games with A LOT of visual recoil (current state battlefield V and on-release battlefield 4 are a good example of that)

The examples rerez mentioned hardly apply to the main uses of on-screen crosshairs.

Oh, I thought you’re going to talking about those PS1 LDC screens that were made for the PS One or the PS2 ones for automobiles.
Also most hotels have HDTVs, so an HDMI cable would basically save you a lot of money.
