My man looked at a photo of himself when he was young and in high school, he's 40 now, and said, "I can't find that guy anymore". I replied, "that is because he isn't reflected in your mirror anymore but he's in my eyes", he melted.

He melts at "I have faith in you" and "I trust you" and "You make me feel safe" and "I admire your integrity" and finally "I respect you"

1. Make him feel special
2. Compliment his competency
3. Everyman has a desire to be admired. His character not his clothes

Great insight! Married 17 years. I watch these videos to do my "man homework" in an effort to better understand the male mind of my husband and be the best wife possible. This channel is so helpful!

I’ve been married a long time to the most wonderful man! Once I said, “Thank you for taking care of me all these years.” I really meant it! I’ve never felt insecure even though we’ve had some very rough times financially. He has always put my needs before his own. Makes me cry! Such a good man!

"I appreciate you" was the first compliment I told him. He was so touched and happy and that started everything.

every man that i have ever said..."u have a good and kind heart" to literally "stops right in his tracks...his eyes soften...and he looks down and says...THANK U" and even if we're no longer lovers...they check on me to see how i am🌻🌷💐

I told my male friend a little time ago that I like how we talk for hours. He makes my extrovert side blossom and makes me feel free to talk any kind of subject without becoming rejected. He is a smart introvert and not so social skilled with women so he told me last week that my words meant to him a lot. His self esteem raised literally.

I always tell my husband that I’m proud of him for being such an amazing provider and for planning for our future. And I tell him how hot he is in his uniform (and out of it) because he really is. He wasn’t raised in a family that gave compliments, and he has had really low self-esteem his whole life. I think I’ve helped him see that he’s a really good guy.

Mathew is right in everything he said. BUT - if we use his advice to reel a person in, and then return to being our normal, thoughtless
selves, it all backfires. Most relationships get old quickly because we stop being considerate fairly early on, and the partner becomes just a habit.
All things we truly value require effort to sustain...

I truly hate cleaning dishes, give me laundry. My husband comes home from work and cleans the dishes, even the hidden ones in our kids room. I see that ALL the dishes & pots are all clean. I walk over to him with open arms and give him a long hug & kiss & tell him thanks babe for doing the dishes I love you. Now he does them and tells me he knows I don't like doing them. I truly love my hubby.

This is my compliment to my man:
"Yes, I know you will. You always do and I never have any doubts when I'm with you."

Someone that I’m talking to, I told him… I appreciate you for keeping your word. A man who keeps his word has value to what he says… I respect that. However, we don’t have a title or anything… And I have so many questions… i’m a blind mother of three, and i’m trying to make better decisions in my life… But I really want to be loved and someone’s wife One day… It means so much. Well, I thought I would share that.

I told a guy once that he improved the quality of my life. He LOVED that! He would bring it up every once in a while that that comment made him feel good.

A few days ago I was telling my guy how much I appreciation his his extra emotional support these last few months with my dad being in very poor health. He has literally been at death's door but very slowly turning a corner. My guy asks for updates on how my dad is doing and mom is through this. He says he prays for my dad to get better to come home. We talk about our close connection to our families and not take them for granted. Right now, we are LDR, and we have to postpone meet up until I feel like dad is in a lot more stable health at home before visiting him. I wouldn't handle this as well without his support.

I write poems for my man every now and then telling him it's my way of appreciating him in all ways. I often tell him the phrase "I admire your----" "I love your and how-" and "You are so strong baby" kind of compliments. now he always tell me to never leave him and stay in his life forever. he receprocates my words by his actions that I love so much ♥ WORDS ARE INDEED POWERFUL SO BE MINDFUL WHAT TO SAY TO YOUR MAN ;) .

I remembered I once I told a friend who I had a crush on I appreciated that he was a total gentleman and that he always looked out for me, and that I admired his honesty, he friend zoned me, but after I said 'I really appreciated you didn't lead me on', he asked me out on a date-date two weeks after.
