I know what it takes to do deep water culture, I really commend your commitment and love for your plants. It may start as a hobby but it becomes a passion and it will consume your life if you let it.

Cool video man. Subbed and onboard.
I just sowed some giant-strawberry seeds. Packet says to stratify for a month (already done). I planted them about 3mm deep.
Quick Q: I'm nervous since strawberry seeds are always tiny and I'm concerned they won't take. I asked the SpicyMoustache if I'll be okay, he suggested getting cuttings/clones or already growing sprouts. So now I'm kinda wary of the progress. He says they'll take forever, but I'm not worried about time. I just want to know if they'll take ?

I planted sugar baby watermelons the other day and they've since popped - same depth 3mm. That same day I tried capsicum (bell peppers) - same procedure 3mm, they didn't take.

Some of the roots are brown and black. Not sure that’s normal. Do you trim roots from time to time. I think you should try cut down the basil plant’s roots to one to two inches and see if it will bounce back. I think herbs roots are ok to prune every year. I do that to my hydroponic polka dot plants. They are super resilient. Great vid 👍🏻

Thank you. I had know idea strawberries live only 5-6 year’s. No wonder my old plant’s are dying off. I thought it was something I was doing. 😥

Not too many people have a green thumb you’re talented. You should take this and run with it. No chemicals make some money.

I use general hydroponics nutrients in my mary Jane plants I grow in similar buckets mine are connected all the way around the bottom with 1 inch tube I can pump the water from the reservoir around to each plant until the roots get too big then I turn the pump off n leave the air bubbles on.
