You can see where Quechua cuts corners on the budget-friendly NH Escape 500 Backpack, yet it still performs well for shorter trips of all varieties.

Wow thank you! for not being an "all backpacks above review channel"... this is a great backpack and price is amazing.

Thank you for reviewing budget items as well. I have the Quechua NH Escape 500 rolltop 32L version and it is honestly a great bag. You can see that the materials are not as good as 100 EUR bags but it is a very impressive and functional bag.

This is a great backpack. I have 23 L version. Durable, looks great, lots of compartments and yet inexpensive.

I have the 23L roll top version and love it, multiple onebag trips with it and no complaints.

You forgot to mention that if you don’t want to use the hip belt, you can tuck them in. There are two dedicated holes beneath the back straps.

I love this backpack, very useful and great price. I have the 32l one for travel and the 16l one that I use on a daily basis. Multiple pockets and great organization.

I bought this because I can’t afford some of the higher end one bag travel backpacks. It’s been really value for money; I’ve used it twice so far and has been really durable and so much utility.

Thanks for reviewing this. Great to see the pack getting some well deserved love. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a bag with these features for the price. I have the 16L version which I love as it really challenges you to take only what you need on trips. I'd love to see some more decent budget focused gear for those dipping their toes in to one bag travel.

I have this exact model, and also a Aer Day Pack 2, surprisingly enough, Quechua is way more comfortable. Another thing to add, the hip belt can be hidden away into the small holes where the straps are.

I use the 23L version and I absolutely love it. It cost me $35 CAD, and is infinitely more comfortable than the pack it replaced, and the perfect size for my use.
I find it great as a "personal item" (even if it's technically a bit large, it seems to pass, and fits nicely under the seat of any plane).
I one bag with it and for the price, there's just nothing anywhere close.

Thank you for the detailed video. Request you to share a review of the Forclaz Travel Backpack 500 Organiser 40L

You might want to look at the roll top version, too. It's the only roll top I'd actually take on a trip since it has a full side zipper.

I've had one of these bags for a few months now and regularly use it for a couple of nights away. It was only £45 and it's been great.

I have this backpack and love it! Also regarding fit I'm 5'3" and female and it fits well. No issues about it feeling tight in the shoulders and because the hip belt sits lower on me, no discomfort there either.

Not only this backpack is affordable but it has superb warranty and lightweight plus durable and water resistant. So when travelling u don't have to worry cuz of the weight.

I think the battery cable pass through is supposed to go to the strap where the phone pocket is, not the water bottle pocket

would love to see you do more video on budget backpack like Decathlon. Lots of feature, durable and even on par with expensive backpack from top notch brands, but with reasonably price.

A couple quick points you brought up:
- The phone pocket is indeed pretty small, I use it for my sunglasses though, and it works great for that.
- chest strap, indeed I find it doesn't quite stay put.
- padding: that missing bit of foam in the middle is intentional to leave room for your spine, and for airflow, I certainly wouldn't want them to put any foam there.
- quick access pocket: I find it the perfect size to fit everything I need access to on the plane, battery pack, charge cord, ear buds, blindfold.

I love this pack, though I use the 23L version so there are some minor differences, I don't have the top front pocket, or the hip strap, but otherwise it's the same thing just smaller.
