Tens of thousands of protesters demonstrated in central Tel Aviv demanding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intensify efforts to secure the release of hostages held in Gaza. Israel had reported that the bodies of six hostages had been recovered from a tunnel in Gaza, where they were believed to have been killed shortly before Israeli troops could reach them. Netanyahu vowed that Israel would not rest until those responsible were held accountable. Meanwhile, in Jerusalem, protesters took to the streets, blocking roads and demonstrating outside the Prime Minister's residence. The trade union has called for a general strike September 2, to apply further pressure on the government to secure a resolution to the hostage crisis. The recovered hostages were among approximately 250 captured during the Hamas-led incursion into southern Israel on October 7, which triggered Israel's ongoing war in Gaza.

Mr. Lapid, instead of uniting the people of Israel against the Islamic Republic and the American Democratic Party and world leaders who support the Islamic Republic, you rebel against Prime Minister Netanyahu, you are never Israeli.
