I don't know why but I love her characteristics every time she leaves a scene. Basically the wide eyes as if she's unsure if she should have heard what she heard (even though she can't really help it because of her gift) plus her whispering lol.

The tiniest details of how she talks is brilliant when paired with her gift. She talks in such a whispered voice both to ensure she can hear whats happening at all times and out of all the noises, your voice can be the loudest since its close to your ears. So when she starts panic yelling, she covers her ears as if to block the sound.

Don't worry, guys, we'll definitely see more of her in whatever more Disney's planning for Encanto (because THEY HAVE to be planning more. A spin-off, short or whatever)

Am I the only one who thinks some of the gifts these characters have is more like a curse? Like imagine Dolores on the day she receives her room and suddenly she can hear everything from a mile radius and her own voice is too loud. Especially on a day that the whole town would be in one place and there’d be a loud and chaotic party right after. It wasn’t like she was born with this hearing, she had to adjust to it full force after living several years with normal hearing. Poor girl must have been in agony when she was figuring out how to adjust to her new power.
