Sony sounds so full while JBL sounds a bit processed and too sharp, making it unbearable for long music sessions. I have the JBL ones but I only use it when my sony xb43 is charging.

Let's be real here....even if you have the volume at 50% on the Xtreme4 the sound is sound is not tinny sound for those of you who says JBL sound clearer 😅😂

My first few bluetooth speakers where sony XB31 and XB41 but I was disapointed by the direction they went so I switched to JBL, glad sony is finally making more desirable speakers again. That field 5 is a bit big tho creeping close to boombox level of size compared to the xtreme but cannot fault the design and the lights! Good stuff from Sony!

Today I bought a Sony ULT Field 5. I have many bluetooth speakers from JBL Authentics 500 to Marshall Woburn 3, Boombox 3. I would like to share that the speaker is beautiful, it looks modern and beautiful. Excellent LED lights. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the sound. There is no power, it is around real 30W. After 60%, a strong compression appears which totally kills the bass and sound dynamics. An update came immediately, but nothing improved.
The speaker is pleasant to listen to at about 30-50% gain. There is no deep bass, don't expect miracles. The sound is very open with emphasized highs and mids. Many better alternatives Harman Kardon Go Play 3, JBL Boombox 3, Bose Soundlink Max. I will definitely be taking this Sony back to the store

After watching the video, I decided to grab the speaker since it was on sale here in Australia. It looked perfect for playing Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and R&B!

Would be cool to see the new Sony ULT field 3 be compared to the JBL Charge 5 and 6. I have a pair of Charge 5 and want to know how the ULT 3 compares to that and the new Charge 6.

If u guys get a chance to listen to the Marshall Stockwell 2, u will consider all else is crap. The projection is surround, small but huge sound from back from front, not your typical unidirectional. I used to watch movie 200 inch screen and Marshall Stockwell provide huge sound

Questions....does that sony keep the bass up to max volume..??.
What type of bass does it produce? Deep bass or upper bass?
I've had different brands of speakers...now I'm only left with JBL PB310, Sony Xg500, LG xg2t...
The Xg500 is nice but, the deep bass after 60/70% it changes to upper bass...i don't like that...i sold my Boombox 2 to try the Xg500 it has nicer battery compared to the BB2
