I think I'll take your advice and read Since You've Been Gone in June! I read Second Chance Summer last year and I really enjoyed it. Her books seem to have that "young, summery, carefree (at times)" vibe that's cozy to me lol

Oh wow, I never knew Big Fish was a book! That was one of my favorite films growing up. Great books!

'it's in the synopsis so it's not a spoiler' nowadays, the synopsis is usually full of spoilers, and book reviews too - i expect spoilers on social media and stuff, but the standards of behaviour by publishers, reviewers and other official figures is way worse than it ever used to be, honestly - i'm old, they used to be very good, they had like a code of conduct in that way towards readers (on the other hand, they never gave bad reviews, so you could waste a lot of money - and parting with lots of money was the only way to find out if the book was any good if it wasn't in the library)

I love the movie Big Fish. I didn't realize it was based on a book. I will have to check that out. The movie is beautifully done.

I REALLY need to get around to finishing the Chaos Walking trilogy, but the editions of The Ask and The Answer and Monsters of Men that match my edition of The Knife of Never Letting Go is out of print *single tear*. Loved TKONLG though! And The Lies of Locke Lamora!! I'm a bit jealous you still have the joy of experiencing the rest of the books for the first time ahead of you. That series is pure gold. :)
