I love that you love Jane Eyre now. I usually reread it once a year, but I didn't get to it in 2016, so it's gonna be a top priority in 2017. I might couple it with that biography because you sold me. I want Bronte feels. Also, JANE STEELE. So, so good.

I'm curious about Outlander, but at the same time I'm not optimistic about liking it. You talked about it much in the same way as ACOMAF/EOS and I hated ACOMAF so that's not a good indication. 😂

I would highly recommend Down and Out in Paris and London by Orwell, it made my favorites list this year. Soooo good!

I feel like nowadays authors feel the need to include diversity in their novels to not be considered as problematic. I am much for books with diversity for I have read a handful of them and I enjoy reading them immensely but I've seen a lot of booktubers dislike a certain book just solely for the "lack of diversity". Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way but I can't help but noticed the trend going on with authors being put in the spotlight because their books lack diversity.

I own In Order to Live but have yet to read it. I'll make sure to read it in 2017. Also, Jane Eyre is my favourite classic as well - Northanger Abbey is my favourite Jane Austen book :)

omg I'm so happy you loved Jane Eyre so much, it's literally one of my favourite classics and that's why I loved Jane Steele a lot as well!! It's such a fantastic book 💜. Also I adored When Michael Met Mina, I think everyone should read it!! Great list😊 hope this year is even better!!

I'm reading Jane Eyre right now and i'm loving it! there are some parts where i'm like 'wth is going' but i'm still following the story (: and i can't stop picturing Mr Rochester as Richard(monica's ex bf) from the tv show Friends!!

I plan to read Jane Ayr in 2017 as it sounds like a class that I will love. I loved reading Illuminae and Gemina this year and I need the next book! :)

WOW you had a great reading year, i added many to my tbr thanks. I'm a Muslim but i've never read a YA or for that matter any genre that had a Muslim protagonist time to start.
Jane Eyre is my favorite book ever as well, i had to read it for school and i fell in love ever since and it is the reason i love literature and majored in it.
