Показать описание
To be successful on YouTube you need to be good at what you do... So which approach will make you better faster? 12 videos per year, focusing on quality or 104 videos focusing on quantity?
In this video I look into this question and share with you why my opinion has completely changed.

The age-old-question: quantity or quality? Which will make you better?
I used to think that focusing on quality was the best way to achieve success here on YouTube. That if I spent more time trying to produce the best content possible, I would gain subscribers faster, get more views and ultimately make more from adsense monetization in less time.
But, I've come to realise that if you want subscribers and views on this platform you need to add lot's of value to your audience. And when we are starting off, we can find it difficult to do this while trying to learn all the essential skills a YouTuber needs (editing, script writing, presenting, making thumbnails etc.).
While focusing on quality at the beginning sounds like a good idea, for me it held my progress back.
It's like lifting weights in a gym, you can't expect to be able to lift extremely heavy weights with no experience. Similarly, we can't expect to be able to make videos that get millions of views if we've only made 10 videos in our life.
Even if you're knowledgeable, you still need the experience of implementing this knowledge correctly, which takes time and many videos.
That's why Mr Beast's advice really only applies to those YouTubers with the foundational skills mastered.
So moving forward (although I will find it extremely difficult) I'm going to be focusing on balancing quantity with quality. This way I can learn faster and become the creator I always wanted to be.
I hope you enjoyed the video and please let me know what you think.
