In full: Boris Johnson urges MPs not to block Brexit

Prime Minster Boris Johnson has expressed his desire to not have a general election and has urged MPs to avoid delaying Brexit.

Mr Johnson delivered the speech outside of 10 Downing Street, amid rising speculation about a general election.

I am astounded and encouraged to hear Boris. I believe him when he says he will keep his promise. And that is why he can get the deal May never could. He could pull off the impossible; to leave the EU with a deal. The only people who wont be happy are those who never accepted the referendum results, those who are determined to stuff Brexit no matter what. Most of the country I believe is with Boris on this.
