Boris Johnson hints at a General Election if rebel Tory MPs vote to delay Brexit beyond October 31.

Addressing the nation on the steps of Downing Street, the Prime Minister said "I don't want an election, you don't want an election," as he urged Tory MPs to work with him, not against him.

However Mr Johnson reiterated that there were "no circumstances" in which he would ask Brussels for a delay, leaving the door open for an election to be called.
