SOLIDWORKS 2015 Sneak Peek: Up To Reference Linear Patterns

Up to Reference is a new option for the Linear Pattern feature that is similar to the equal spacing option in the circular pattern.

First of all, yes I see the date of last comment as 2014 but it's still what I needed.
I was in the process of doing this for Lincoln Logs...
Problem is, there is one that has only one set of notches. "No copies specified for pattern" Is there a known remedy for this?

i cant find up to reference feature in 2022

I have 2015 SP4 and this option is not available in the linear pattern feature. Any idea why?
