Ok, we have flattened details. Is there any automated way to make them ready for sewing? I mean if this is a fabric then we should make detail slightly bigger, put on different parts some marks to make them fit to each other etc. It would be nice to have all details at one sketch to continue editing there.

if I have autocad 3d solid is it possible recognizable to solidworks, I mean convert the 3d file, then flatten

anyone can compare this function with solid3dtech advanced smart unfold. Search for solid3dtech. It unfolds the many surfaces into a single contour which can be used for manufacture.
