DJI has updated their DJI Osmo, the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. It has an updated frame made of Nylon, new button layouts, better features, and a lower price. It will even now work in portrait mode! The new gimbal/stabilizer will launch for preorder January 23rd at Apple.

I'm going to get this...and if I can Pre-Order that just means, just means I won't have to get charged for it until It get's Shipped WHICH is AMAZING...BUT...I hope they don't get a MASSIVE Flock of Orders. This will be my first time using a Product like this...as I just use my GoPro with my Wand, THIS will help me increase my Video Productivity.

The v1 is has been $199 for over a month. And the v2 dropped some hardware features. That's one reason it's cheaper. How is the button interface better? The v1 had the same front buttons and a trigger. Now you have less buttons but get the zoom button which is. Nice I'd shooting a lower res where the digital zoom doesn't affect quality that much. But the lack of the side mint rosette is a problem as the whole tripod and external mike mounted solution is a lot taller. And how does One charge an iPhone if the iPhone charge port is covered up by the mount?

Would really like to see how it performs with an iPhone X since both lens have OIS. I heard that you can't turn off OIS and they gimbal will "fight" with each other.

How do you use the USB out to charge an iPhone when the lightening port is covered by the Osmo clamp ?
