Great video! I was actually eying the Osmo, and I glad I did. I wonder if it suffers from the same issue that the previous version where the stabilization from the OSMO conflicted with the iPhone OIS. That seemed to be a huge issue in the last model. Dieter can you confirm?  Lastly, id be curious to see a comparison between this device with an iPhone 7, 8 or even X and going up against the beefy video rig set up that was shown in the video.

I have a Zhiyun Smooth Q and I can do vertical video just by rotating my hand. I thought the original Osmo Mobile could do the same thing. Can the Osmo Mobile 2 support a large phone like the Note 8 or S8+ in a case? One of my biggest problems with using DJI or Zhiyun phone gimbals is having to remove the case from my phone before placing my phone into the gimbal's cradle. I've seen a considerable number of people asking this on various forums but DJI has not commented.

Well, I got me one back in July of this year, and it's my go-to gadget to all video recordings using my iPhoneX when we are outdoor. its the perfect gadget to get awesome videos and for me, videos are important whenever I do have the chance to make some for my 6yr old son. I don't own a professional video camera, and still having a problem of getting a "GoPro" so this was the perfect match to the iPhoneX. Awesome review, I wish you had an updated one though and your thoughts after owning/using it i.e., tips, and shortcuts this device includes.

When Dieter changed the orientation from portrait to landscape, why did he have to take the phone out from the grip? Is it a necessary step to calibrate?
